Building our Cultural House

Room 2,3 and 4 had a busy afternoon crafting, carving and building. Rain and shine students helped Mr Hunte dig holes for the cultural house poles and poured concrete to seal the poles in place.  Miss McDonell and her crafty bunch of students created mosaics that represented their families and culture, while Mr O'Connor and his team carved cultural designs into macrocapa. This week we will continue building and piecing together our masterpiece. This will be a space teachers can take their classes to learn in. We can't wait to see the final product!
