What a huge Term!!

What a busy term we had in room 2! We started the term by remembering our Anzacs and learning about how and why they fought for us. That then led us into our belonging unit. We discovered who, where and how we belonged. We learnt about each other through our family trees and even discovered new things about each other. We concluded our term with a 'we all belong day' where we celebrated and recognised all of the cultures in our school, as well as embraced other cultures we weren't familar with. The cultural night on the last Thursday of the term was a fantastic way to show off some of the wonderful cultures we have in Glenavon. What a fantastic term! But now, what do we have to look forward to.... TERM 3= SCIENCE, SCIENCE and MORE SCIENCE!!! This term we will be learning about planet earth and beyond. We will be discovering how science contributes to our everyday lives and how we contribute to science! Watch this space to keep tabs on what's happening in room 2!
